1. Who processes your data

The controller of personal data is SIA "Upprint" (registration No. 40103233478, registered address: Ventspils Augsto tehnoloģiju parks 1, Ventspils, LV-3602, Latvia).

We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

2. What data we process and why

2.1. Enquiries and correspondence

When you fill in the website form or write to our e-mail, we process your first name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number, company name and the content of your enquiry.

Purpose: to answer your question and prepare a quotation.
Legal basis: steps taken prior to entering into a contract at your request.

2.2. Fulfilment of orders

In the case of an order, we process contact details, invoicing and delivery information, payment details and order history.

Purpose: to produce and deliver the order, issue an invoice and maintain accounting records.
Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation (accounting legislation).

2.3. Design and media files

We process the files you send for the production of an order - photographs, logos, proofs, fonts and other visual materials.

Purpose: to check the suitability of the files, prepare the proof and produce a personalised item.
Legal basis: performance of the contract.

We use the files to fulfil your order. We do not use them for other clients' orders.

2.4. News and offers

If you have given your consent, we may send information about news and promotions to your e-mail address. We process your name and e-mail address.

Legal basis: your consent. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to [email protected] or using the unsubscribe link in the e-mail.

2.5. Applying for vacancies

When you send an application to our e-mail, we process the data stated in your CV and cover letter solely for the specific recruitment process. If we wish to keep your data for future vacancies, we will ask for separate consent.

2.6. Website operation and security

We process technical data - IP address, browser type, time of visit and pages viewed.

Purpose: to ensure the operation and security of the website and to compile visit statistics.
Legal basis: our legitimate interests; for analytical and marketing cookies - your consent.

3. Who we share data with

We do not share data with third parties except where this is necessary to provide the service or required by law. Our processors are:

  • website platform and server providers;
  • e-mail and communication service providers;
  • courier services and delivery partners;
  • accounting and payment service providers;
  • web analytics service providers.

We may disclose data to public authorities where this is necessary to comply with legal requirements or to defend legal claims.

4. How long we keep data

  • Enquiry and correspondence data – up to 2 years from the last contact.
  • Order and accounting documents – 5 years in accordance with legal requirements; for certain documents - 10 years.
  • Design and media files - up to 5 years from the last order, so that a repeat order can be fulfilled faster.
  • Marketing communication data - until consent is withdrawn.
  • Job applications - up to 6 months after the recruitment process ends.

5. Your rights

You have the right:

  • to obtain information about which of your data we process and to receive a copy of it;
  • to request the rectification of inaccurate data;
  • to request the erasure of data where there is no longer a basis for processing it;
  • to request the restriction of processing;
  • to object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
  • to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller;
  • to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To exercise these rights, write to [email protected] from the same e-mail address associated with the data being processed – this allows us to identify you.

Please note: if you withdraw your consent or object to processing that is necessary for fulfilling an order, we will not be able to complete the order.

If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate (Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, [email protected], dvi.gov.lv).

6. Cookies
